A neutralization process which eliminates contrasts among oral tract veatures.

 

 

 

The process of removing voice from a segment, such as changing [d] to [t] or [g] to [k]. See also neutralization, voice .

A phonological process, generally eliminating unlinked items.

 

 

 

Having to do with the body of the tongue. A node used in articulator-based feature theory.
